As a child Manny loved the outdoors, as soon as he woke up in the morning he went outside to look for his gang of friends. His gang was a group of boys that he could get into mischief with. They would ride their bikes, go fishing, play army, and have squirt gun fights! Family camping vacations were some of his favorite times.

As Manny got older, he never lost his love for the outdoors, camping, and mischief. But he also acquired other loves.  He was a model railroad enthusiast with his own collection. He was a member of the rod and gun club, although he did not hunt, he loved shooting guns! He developed a love for Music, Budweiser, Buffalo Wings, Barbeque Ribs, Sister Susie’s Eggplant Parmesan, and the Kale soup that Granny and Mom used to make. Nowadays you can get it at  Carol's house.

The love of his life was his girlfriend Cindy. He Loved her with all his heart and with all his heart called her "Cindy Lou." He was her hero and protected her from the world. Never afraid for himself, when he became sick his only wish was that we always take care of his "Cindy Lou".

Manny was known as “Uncle Manny” to his 11 nieces and nephews and all his friends children. He loved spending time with children, teaching them his mischievous ways, but most of all just loving them. Check out the photo album you'll see what we mean.

Manny Raposo passed away in 2004 due to Non Clear Renal-Cell Kidney Cancer. So many of us are still very pained by the loss of Manny. Keeping him close in our hearts, remember the child in yourself, and,  always look on the brighter side of life.
